1. The new LiteTECH Upper Kage is made from extremely light materials with a seamless 3-ply construction to further reduce weight.
2. The outside layer is an extremely light mono-mesh, guaranteeing tensile strength.
3. The reinforcing Inner Kage is of tough, thin microfi bre, which also gives the foot good grip.
4. The Kage's design includes all lace holes, so that there is plenty of support.
5. A very breathable open mesh forms the inner layer and provides superb comfort of wear.
6. To reduce wear and extend its life, the shoe has an additional coating applied to the front foot area.
7. The tongue is made of a comfortable, thin microfi bre with light, compressed cushioning foam.
8. The KBox which is attached direct in the forefoot area guarantees top levels of stability whilst keeping weight to a minimum. It provides extra support and shape retention in the forefoot area. The stable, robust woven fabric between the KBox elements further helps to reduce weight without affecting stability.
9. The outer midsole wedge is made of a new EVA material which has the properties of PU - improved impact absorption and long-lasting cushioning effects - and the lightness of EVA. The midsole is ergonomically shaped and provides better roll and secure footing in the forefoot area.
10. In the heel area there is an additional shock-absorbing cushion of HD-EVA. The duo-density heel construction provides excellent shock absorption just where the greatest impact forces occur.
11. The extra PU heel brace where the midsole and upper converge gives more security and better support during quick moves.
